Voci Technologies Inc. (Voci), a provider of enterprise speech-to-text transcription and analytics, today announced the close of an $8 million Series B funding. The round was led by Grotech Ventures and Harbert Growth Partners.
Voci, a Carnegie Mellon spinoff, is a leading provider of software that delivers actionable insights from recorded or live voice. Its patented technology employs artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms to deliver highly accurate transcriptions, as well as insights related to gender, sentiment, emotion, and speaker biometrics. Voci can process up to 150 hours of speech in one hour.
The company plans to use its new capital to accelerate sales and marketing while continuing its focus on delivering best-in-class technology voice-based customer interactions.
