ScoreStream Secures New Funding

Entertainment startup ScoreStream announced the close of a new round of financing. Intel Capital, Avalon Ventures, RGA Ventures, Verizon Ventures, and Sinclair Broadcasting participated in the funding.

ScoreStream is a communication platform that allows sporting events’ fans to share information with their family and friends, including real-time scoring, photo filters and overlays, the ability to share highlights to social networks, and a host of other sport scoring tools on their website.

The new funding will enable ScoreStream to create product enhancements and extend its platform capabilities.
