vTime, a UK-based virtual reality sociable network that allows users to meet, chat, broadcast, and share with people around the world, closed a $7.6 million Series A funding round led by Deepbridge Capital utilizing the Enterprise Investment Scheme, as well as Liverpool-based institutional loan and equity provider MSIF.

Used in more than 190 countries, vTime strives to support Windows Mixed Reality, Google Daydream, Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, and iPhone. According to the company, support for HTC Vive and PSVR are being developed.

The funds will be used to accelerate global growth and product development, and fuel R&D for the brand’s augmented reality experience.
