Product Alternatives is a web app SaaS tool that helps users find alternatives and replacements for B2B software. Its list of software products not only categorizes and ranks products, it actually shows switching and substitution behavior, answering the question, “When a company stops using X, what are they most likely to start using next?” The company is launching its new substitutes data for roughly 1,000 products, including Mandrill, Amazon EC2, Inspectlet, Intercom, WordPress, Lever, Zendesk, and iCIMS.
Product Alternative was developed by Gerry Giacoman Colyer, Ayan Barua, and Kevin William David, who are the team behind Siftery, a popular website where people discover products recommended by peer companies.
