Dialog Semiconductor, a U.K.-based manufacturer of semiconductor-based system solutions, today announced that it has acquired semiconductors company SiLEGO Technology.
SiLEGO Technology is a pioneer and leader of configurable mixed-signal ICs (CMICs), a solution that comprises a matrix of configurable analog and digital blocks. The technology, in combination with its design software and development kit, allows immediate prototyping of custom mixed-signal circuits in the form of a single IC, reducing PCB cost, size and assembly issues. According to the company, Silego has shipped more than two billion CMICs worldwide.
Prior to the exit, Silego Technology had raised $5.75 million in funding.
