World Book, Inc., announced the launch of World Book WOW, which allows kids ages 8 through 13 to find fun learning, reading, and homework support.

WOW (World of Wisdom) provides a child’s individualized virtual play and learning space. Three main sections—Homework, Games, and eBooks—offer study and research boosters and tools, games that provide real fun and learning, and an exclusive collection of eBooks about topics that kids love and subjects they study in school.

WOW works on phones, tablets and desktops. A single subscription accommodates up to five individual users. Game players win badges that encourage them to challenge themselves, and they can invite brothers, sisters, and friends — even if they are not WOW subscribers — through social media or via email to join in the play and learning. New material is added daily to WOW to engage kids and to ensure it becomes a destination year-round.

“Parents, grandparents, teachers, and librarians all know the World Book name stands for trustworthy, kid-focused content of the highest quality,” said World Book President Jim O’Rourke. “World Book fact-filled content now is available—along with hundreds of fun educational games, interactive eBooks, and attention-grabbing media elements—in WOW.”
