Website Builder Strikingly Raises $6 Million

Strikingly completed $6 million in Series A financing. Infinity Venture Capital Fund, Innovation Works, Y Combinator, TEEC Angel, and CAS Holdings participated in the funding.

Strikingly is an online web platform that enables individuals to build mobile-optimized websites without coding or design. It has a “mobile first, web second” approach, and its sites are optimized for smartphones, tablets, and desktops. Users only need to manage a single site presence. Strikingly also reduces the time spent building a site by providing pre-designed templates and layouts. The company makes money from premium plan subscriptions, which allow users to connect custom domains and remove Strikingly branding.

According to the company, part of Strikingly’s Series A will be used to add additional features to its mobile editor, an effort to attract more customers in mobile-first markets like Southeast Asia.
