Mark O’Shaughnessy Rejoins Delphi Technology as SVP of Business Development
Delphi Technology, an industry leader in technology solutions for medical professional liability insurance, announced today that Mark O’Shaughnessy has rejoined the company as senior vice president of business development, reporting directly to Sam Fang, Delphi’s president and CEO.
In his new position, O’Shaughnessy will spearhead the company’s business development group with the goal of expanding market share in the medical and hospital professional liability markets. He and his team will focus on new business development initiatives, including sales and marketing.
As a key member of Delphi’s leadership team from 1998 to 2005, O’Shaughnessy was responsible for Delphi customer success and professional services. O’Shaughnessy’s insurance industry experience spans 27 years, starting with Liberty Mutual, followed by brokerage experience with Willis and Aon. For the past two decades, he has focused his career on insurance technology, including, most recently, four years with Guidewire Software, working with insurers of all sizes and specialties to define and execute core system strategies. He is a graduate of Boston University.
“We welcome Mark back as a key member of our executive team,” said Fang. “His broad and deep industry experience and track record of success helping insurers transform their businesses by effectively leveraging technology will serve both Delphi and our customers well.”
