Internet & IoT Startup Abovo42 Closes $1.8 Million

Abovo42 announced it has secured $1.8 million in financing led by Link Ventures.

Abovo42 offers a consumer technology that allows Internet users to publish and share content simply by sending or forwarding an email message. Any email sent or forwarded to the Post@Abovo42.com email address will be instantly transformed into an exact replica of the message as an HTML web page on the Internet, and the sender will instantly receive a link to the page they created.

The potential uses of Abovo42 include sharing a Groupon email offer with friends on Facebook and Twitter, open letters, file distribution, and public interaction with fans and customers.

According to the company, with this investment it will expand its capacity to reach potential users of its new consumer tech and grow its base of advertisers to monetize clicks on ads by using a revenue model similar to Google and Facebook.
