Rubica Raises $6 Million

Security startup Rubica completed $6 million in seed financing. Four investors contributed to the round, including Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Slow Ventures, and Expa Capital.
Rubica aims to eliminate the complexities involved in personal cyber security and privacy by taking care of it for users behind the scenes. Users download the Rubica app to each of their smartphones, tablets and computers and the company promises to keep personal information safe and out of the hands of criminals.
