FinTech startup OpenInvest announced it has raised $3 million in seed financing. Three investors contributed to the round: Andreessen Horowitz, Abstract Ventures, and SV2.
OpenInvest is the world’s first automated investment advisor that builds investment portfolios based on the causes users care about most. The company was founded in 2015 by Conor Murray and Phil Wei, who met building financial systems for the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates.
OpenInvest plans to use the funding to fuel hiring, further develop the product, and accelerate customer growth.
