KidPass Raises $5 Million

Kids entertainment startup KidPass just closed $5 million in Series A financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Javelin Venture Partners, CoVenture, Y Combinator, and FJ labs.
KidPass is a new kind of membership pass that helps parents discover and book children’s activities, including classes, camps, party spaces, museums, and other events. The company offers a way to make it fun and easy to explore children’s interests.
In its announcement, the company said it plans to use the Series A funding to accelerate growth through further investment in its technology platform, as well as to expand into new markets including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Chicago.
