Security startup Karamba Security announced the close of $12 million in Series B financing. Seven investors contributed to the round, among them YL Ventures, Fontinalis Partners, Paladin Capital Group, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, and Presidio Ventures.
Karamba Security offers ECU endpoint security to protect the connected car. The company protects the connected electronic control units (ECUs) within automobiles to insulate them from cyber attacks and ensure the car’s safe ongoing operations.
The company said the investment will be used to expand customer support, sales, and R&D to help it meet rapidly growing demand.
