Leading cloud business applications provider Intermedia today announced the acquisition of AnyMeeting, an Irvine, CA-based web conferencing, video conferencing, and webinar provider. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011, AnyMeeting offers a full-featured web conferencing product designed and priced for small business, including a free option that is ad-supported. AnyMeeting provides all the features a small business needs – including six-way video conferencing, conference calling, built-in VoIP, screen sharing, presentation sharing, video sharing, recording, mobile, social media integration, webinar ticketing, and more, all in one, easy-to-use package.

Prior to the acquisition, AnyMeeting had raised $2.6 million funding from Aslanoba Capital, Canyon Creek Capital, and Pasadena Angels.

“The AnyMeeting acquisition provides SMBs with a suite of easy-to-use applications that will increase productivity through enhanced collaboration, and deliver an even greater breadth of opportunity for our partners,” stated Michael Gold, CEO of Intermedia. “Our UCaaS offering will soon be our largest product line, and our AnyMeeting acquisition enables us to accelerate to the next phase as we offer an even broader portfolio of UC applications.”
