Data Platform RackTop Systems Secures $15 Million in Series A

RackTop Systems, the creator of CyberConverged™ fusing data storage, security, and compliance into a single platform, closed $15 million in Series A funding. The financing was led by Razor’s Edge Ventures and Grotech Ventures with participation from Maryland Venture Fund, Blu Venture Investors, and Gula Tech Adventures.

According to the company, RackTop’s network-attached storage platform with embedded access controls, encryption, and compliance optimizes business operations, improves productivity, reduces cost, and strengthens security. RackTop’s technology has been deployed worldwide to manage 50 petabytes of customer data in the public sector as well as in the media, advertising, entertainment, financial services, health care, and life sciences industries.

RackTop plans to use the funds to accelerate near-term sales channel and product development expansion.
