TheGuarantors, a real estate rental industry insurtech provider, completed a Series B funding round totaling $15 million, bringing their total funding amount to $27 million. The Series B round was led by Global Founders Capital, a global venture capital firm that previously invested in Slack, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Previous investors White Star Capital, Alven Capital, and Partech also participated in the round, as well as Silvertech Ventures.

The company’s new offering, called Securiti™, is a financing tool for tenant companies designed to replace traditional office security deposits at half the cost of its alternatives. According to TheGuarantors, it’s the first product of its kind in the office real estate market geared to improve tenants’ growth cash position while offering landlords enhanced protection.

The company plans to use the funding to expand its existing platform nationwide and to launch Securiti™ for the commercial real estate market.
