Zola, a wedding planning and registry management company, raised $100 million in Series D financing led by existing investor Comcast Ventures, as well as new investors NBCUniversal and Goldman Sachs Investment Partners.

Over the past year, Zola has doubled its staff, added 300 brands to its online store of registry gifts, and launched a free suite of wedding planning tools, including wedding websites, a customizable checklist, and a guest-list manager.

Zola plans to use the funding to invest in further cross-device product development and its proprietary platform technology.
