Lumina Networks Closes $10 Million Series A

Open source networking company Lumina Networks raised $10 million in Series A financing, including $8 million in new funding led by Verizon Ventures. Other new investors included AT&T and Rahi Systems.
Operating independently, following a spin-off from Brocade in August 2017, Lumina Networks plans to use the funds to develop new products and innovative solutions using the Lumina SDN Controller powered by OpenDaylight™, as well as for expansion in Europe and Japan.
