FinTech Pioneer YellowPepper Raises $12.5 Million in Series D

YellowPepper closed $12.5 million in Series D financing, with participation from Visa and current investors.
Founded in 2004, the Miami-based company’s proprietary technology and partnerships with leading financial institutions and industry startups provide a digital finance platform operating in six Latin American countries. According to the company, it currently enables 6.6 million monthly active users that execute 480 million transactions yearly, while connecting them with 400,000 merchants.
The company plans to use the funding to accelerate growth of its digital finance platform, which powers 480 million digital transactions annually.
