Genome Company Completes $50 Million in Series D Financing
10x Genomics, a company focused on accelerating genomic discovery, raised $50 million in a Series D financing round led by Meritech Capital Partners. The round also included new investor Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, along with current investors Paladin Capital, Fidelity, and the SoftBank Group.
At the 2018 JPMorgan Healthcare Conference, 10x Genomics announced it’s achieved over $100 million in revenue since 2015, increasing 150% year over year. In its first thirty months of sales, the company has launched twenty-five instrument, reagent, and software products.
The company plans to use the funding for new strategic opportunities, to expand its internal manufacturing capabilities, and to continue to expand its global commercial organization, including new offices in Leiden, The Netherlands and Shanghai, China.
