Luxury E-Commerce Startup Gains $5 Million in Series A Funding

Artemest, a Milan-based e-commerce company specializing in handmade luxury products, raised $5 million in Series A funding, led by the Investment Holding NUO Capital and backed by the Hong Kong PAO–Cheng family, IAG (Italian Angels for Growth) and Bagheera Holding.

Artemest currently connects a curated network of more than 400 independent Italian craftsmen and designers with an international audience of art and design lovers.

According to the company’s co-founder and chief operating officer Marco Credendino, “The new funding will be used to accelerate our growth and to increase the number of suppliers on Artemest.” It also intends to open a trade version of the platform in order to further strengthen its relationship with its current interior designers and architects.
