Xactly Appoints New Chief Sales Officer

Xactly, a provider of cloud-based incentive solutions, has appointed Marc Gemassmer as its new chief sales officer.

Gemassmer worked most recently as general manager of global cloud security sales at IT and networking leader Cisco. Prior to that, he was the vice president of worldwide sales at OpenDNS, a leading provider of cloud-delivered network security acquired by Cisco. Gemassmer has also held vice president of sales positions at self-service data analytics company Alteryx, software and technology management solution provider Flexera, and leading business applications provider SAP.

Gemassmer earned a B.A. in history from the University of California, Berkeley.
