Workast Secures $1.85 Million
Workast announced today it has closed $1.85 million in seed funding led by Greycroft Partners. The round also included Spider Capital, Mucker Capital and Dream Incubator.
Workast aims to improve communication and collaboration for teams by serving as a central platform for all work within a team, from ad-hoc tasks to long-term projects. The platform provides visibility, transparency and efficiency. Workast is currently available on Slack and is used by more than 50,000 companies.
Workast will use the funding to expand the company’s engineering team and web platform, API and third-party integrations. The company also plans to roll out a premium product that will include reports and analytics, unlimited integrations, guest accounts, templates, custom fields and other features.
