Telehealth company Tyto Care today announced that it has raised $25 million in its most recent round, led by Ping An Global Voyager Fund. The fund joins multiple strategic investors already backing the company, including Cambia Health Solutions, Walgreens, Orbimed, Fosun Pharma and LionBird. Funders also include new participants like Qure, Israel’s first exclusively-focused digital health fund, which was established with Johns Hopkins University.

Following its FDA clearance in late 2016 and the launch of its products in the U.S. in early 2017, Tyto Care said it is gaining significant traction with major U.S. health systems, telehealth companies, large private practices and employers.

Tyto Care will use the new funding to continue its expansion and enhance its product offerings and data analytics to empower both clinicians and consumers in telehealth. The funds will also be used to help Tyto Care begin to penetrate the European and Asian markets.
