Rainforest QA Raises $25 Million

Rainforest QA, which provides on-demand quality assurance (QA) solutions, today announced it raised $25 million in Series B funding, bringing the company’s total funding to date to $41 million. Silicon Valley Bank, Bessemer Venture Partners, Sutter Hill Capital, Rincon Ventures, and Initialized Capital all participated in the round.

Rainforest’s on-demand QA solution uses machine learning algorithms to monitor results and testers for accuracy so that developers can focus on the highest value initiatives. Its QA specialists are trained to understand the customer experience, providing another layer of scale to developer teams. Hundreds of companies globally use Rainforest for mobile, web and exploratory testing results they can rely on in under 30 minutes, and, according to the company, many report positive ROI in the first 60 days.

Rainforest will use the new funds to accelerate sales and marketing and to expand its platform.
