TrackR® Appoints New CEO

TrackR®, a leader in the smart item tracking space, announced that its chief operating officer, Nate Kelly, will assume the role of chief executive officer.

Kelly previously worked as head of supply chain at Facebook, vice president of global operations at Sonos, vice president of powertrain supply chain at Tesla Motors, VP of global operations and IT at HP, and VP of logistics and program management at Palm.

“TrackR has grown rapidly over the past few years. We are excited about Nate taking the CEO role. His background of rapid scaling category-leaders such as SonyEricsson, Palm and Sonos perfectly positions him to help us take TrackR to the next level,” said Brad Feld, partner at Foundry Group and TrackR board member.

Previous TrackR CEO and co-founder, Chris Herbert, will continue as a strategic board member with a focus on supporting Kelly as he builds on the company’s momentum.
