IT Startup Raises $1.5 Million
Tilson Technology Management acquired $1.5 million in Series D financing from Rand Capital.
Tilson is an information technology professional services and network construction company that provides wireless site acquisition, construction, and maintenance for cellular, smart grid, and government entities. It specializes in fiber optic engineering, permitting, and construction management, as well as information systems for the construction industry. It also offers software development, systems integration, IT strategy, IT team leadership, project management, information security, broadband development, and energy capital project development.
The company broke ground on a $4 million intelligent transportation network for a state department of transportation, and has completed a design for a large city scale fiber optic network.
