Security Startup Closes $17.5 Million

Simility secured $17.5 million in financing, led by Accel Partners, with participation from PayPal, The Valley Fund, and Trinity Ventures.

Simility helps companies prevent fraud and abuse in real time with machine learning, big data analytics, and data visualization capabilities that enable analysts to create and configure detection mechanisms without having to write one line of code.

The funding will be used to accelerate global expansion of Simility’s partner network, sales, partnerships, customer success, and data science teams.
