MoviePass Adds Two Hires to Its Business Development Team

Movie theater subscription service MoviePass announced two additions to its team. Khalid Itum, a tech entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, joined the company as vice president of business development, and former Preferred Content Vice President Zac Bright was appointed director of business development.

He served as a venture partner for NextGen Venture Partners, and he founded KALEIDOSCOPE, an experiential content marketing firm. Before that, Itum was the lead strategist at Slate Studio, a boutique multi-platform design and development agency based in Venice, California.

Bright joined MoviePass from Preferred Content, a film and television sales, packaging, and advisory company, where he oversaw the agency’s complete slate of narrative and documentary projects during his five-year tenure. Prior to joining Preferred Content, he worked in the brand coverage and digital content departments at the Creative Artists Agency.
