Live Streaming Startup YouNow Closes $6.4 Million

According to a recent SEC filing, YouNow, a live social network that allows users to broadcast themselves from anywhere in real time, raised $6.4 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

YouNow users tap “Go Live,” and can broadcast to a live audience, expand their social media following, and grow their fanbase, according to the company. From live DJs and musicians to YouTubers and Viners, YouNow users can also discover talented content creators and promote their favorites.
