According to a recent SEC filing, Software-as-a-Service patient engagement platform Epion Health raised $3.4 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Epion Health provides mobile health applications and content using a cloud-based application and content management solution at the point of care. From patient check-in through check-out, the platform provides tools to enhance the patient/provider experience. According to the company, it fully integrates with electronic medical record and practice management systems to reduce administrative costs and increase efficiencies.
