H2O.ai Secures $40 Million
Software startup H2O.ai raised $40 million in Series C financing, led by Wells Fargo & Co., and NVIDIA. New York Life Capital Partners, Crane Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, Transamerica Ventures, and Aegon also participated.
According to the company, H2O.ai is focused on bringing AI and deep learning to clients that include Capital One, Progressive Insurance, Transamerica, Comcast, Nielsen Catalina Solutions, Macy’s, Walgreens, and Kaiser Permanente. Its flagship product is H2O, an open source platform that allows financial services, insurance, and healthcare companies to deploy machine learning and predictive analytics for critical applications like predictive maintenance and operational intelligence.
The new investment will be used for global expansion and innovation of driverless AI and an automated machine learning and pipelining platform.
