Financial Technology Startup Secures $8.3 Million

Digital currency online exchange service Coinsquare obtained $8.3 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Coinsquare enables cryptocurrency users to trade their wealth for digital currency and assets. With varying fees for each transaction, users fund and convert their coins for withdrawal in their digital wallets through proprietary Interac e-transfers. Customers can choose from among eight different trading markets secured by two-factor authentication systems and email confirmations.
