Facebook Introduces New Facial Recognition Features

Using the same technology that suggests “friends” users may want to tag in photos or videos, Facebook’s new facial recognition features are designed to help people control their image on the social media platform by finding photos that they’re not tagged in and detecting when others might be attempting to use their image as their profile picture. The company is also introducing a way for visually impaired people to know more about who is in the photos they encounter on Facebook.
