Enterprise IT Startup Brings In $3 Million

BlazingDB, an enterprise startup that helps organizations operationalize their data lakes, raised $2.9 million in seed financing. NVIDIA and Samsung NEXT participated in the round.

According to the company, users are able to query tens to hundreds of terabytes in seconds with BlazingDB’s scalable, GPU-powered SQL engine, which is designed to run directly off of enterprise data lake files.

With this round of financing, BlazingDB plans to expand its team, accelerate enterprise deployments, and ramp up sales activity.
