Electronics Startup Obtains $7 Million

San Francisco-based startup Joy closed $7 million in financing led by Obvious Ventures.
According to the company, Joy is the world’s first interactive photo album that allows users to organize and relive their favorite photos and videos. Users can load albums with Joy’s mobile or web app and invite friends to add their pictures, which are organized in immediately viewable layouts. Users can rediscover their favorite moments as they rotate through its wireless charging stand in “slideshow” mode.
Joy plans to build additional products at varied price points.
