Electronics Startup Brings In $5.1 Million

DroneSeed, a forestry management provider, announced it has raised $5.1 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

According to the company, its recurring revenue service helps its customers maximize the value of their forestland from planting to harvesting. DroneSeed gets paid by the acre for planting trees, protecting forests from invasive species, and monitoring tree growth for inventory.
