Communications Startup Secures $1.2 Million

Call tracking software provider PhoneWagon raised $1.2 million in seed financing, led by Birchmere Ventures. Active Capital also participated in the round.

PhoneWagon’s goal is to help businesses improve their marketing spend by placing unique local phone numbers on each of their different marketing campaigns. Businesses can turn off campaigns that aren’t working, and can quickly test new ads to further improve ROI on the campaigns that are.

The company is using the funds to continue to develop the software and expand operations.
