Building Engines Appoints Daniel Cozza as CPO

Building Engines, a provider of commercial real estate property management solutions, named Daniel Cozza as the company’s new chief product officer. In his role, Cozza will oversee all product development, including the platform’s forthcoming capabilities in the areas of tenant satisfaction and data-driven CRE operations.

Cozza brings 20 years of technology leadership experience to the company, most recently serving as chief technology officer of BlueCielo ECM Solutions. Previously, he led the construction business at Autodesk, preceded by his role as CTO of Vela Systems, which was acquired by Autodesk in 2012. Cozza has a B.S. in both mathematics and computer science from Tufts University.

“Daniel is a leader in his own right, having driven product innovation at Vela Systems, and leading the real estate technology division at Autodesk,” said Building Engines CEO Tim Curran, who worked alongside Cozza at Vela Systems. “He is a visionary product leader and decisive manager, and I’m thrilled to be working with him again to ignite exciting new possibilities for commercial real estate leaders.”
