BitGo Secures $42.5 Million

Security startup BitGo raised $42.5 million in Series B financing, led by Valor Equity Partners. DRW Venture Capital also participated.
BitGo’s Bitcoin security platform uses multi-signature technology to help businesses integrate digital currencies into their existing financial systems at scale without ever taking custody of the assets. The company offers an enterprise-grade, multi-sig, multi-user Bitcoin wallet, as well as API access to its underlying security platform.
The funding will be used to target its technology among institutional investors.
