Beyond Meat Brings In New Funding

Consumer startup Beyond Meat raised a new round of funding from Tyson Foods.

Beyond Meat makes vegetarian-based chicken strips, burgers, and beef crumbles directly from plants. According to the company, their products enable families to continue to eat what they love—like beef nachos, chili, pasta Bolognese, and chicken fajitas—without the downsides of animal protein. Beyond Meat is available in Whole Foods, Target, Safeway, Publix, Walmart and 11,000 stores nationwide.
