The Wing Closes $32 Million

Female co-working space provider The Wing completed $32 million in Series B financing, led by WeWork.

The Wing is a network of co-working and community spaces for women, founded in Manhattan’s Ladies Mile in 2016. Its mission is to tap into the needs, ambitions, and aesthetics of women and create space for them to advance their pursuits and build community together. The Wing occupies a penthouse on 20th Street that’s flooded with natural light and features low-lying pink sofas, peach-bulbed brass chandeliers, mint-green walls, and custom W-emblazoned terrazzo tables.

The Wing plans to use its influx of funding to launch a scholarship program for members in 2018.
