Snap Acquires Metamarkets for $100 Million

According to TechCrunch reports, social networking giant Snap, Inc., has acquired marketing technology startup Metamarkets. The transaction amount is just under $100 million.
Metamarkets, founded in 2010, is a leading provider of interactive analytics for programmatic marketing, which allows users to see what’s happening in the media marketplaces where they operate and provides high-speed processing power. According to the company, Twitter, AOL, Inneractive, Drawbridge, and OpenX use the Metamarkets platform.
The startup had previously raised more than $40 million from investors including Khosla Ventures, Data Collective, and IA Ventures.
