Shippo Secures $20 Million

Logistics startup Shippo announced it acquired $20 million in Series B financing led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Union Square Ventures and SoftTech VC also participated.

Shippo’s API aims to make shipping easy and affordable for small businesses that are not eligible for bulk discounts and whose prices are consequently 80% higher. The company gives customers access to rates offered by hard-to-find smaller courier companies, as well as shipping rates, label printing, international documents automation, shipment tracking, and returns facilitation.
