Financial technology startup ScaleFactor announced the completion of $2.5 million in seed financing. Six investors contributed to the round: Next Coast Ventures, Techstars Ventures, Firebrand Ventures, Matchstick Ventures, Flyover Capital, and Edison Factory.

ScaleFactor developed a smart finance and accounting platform that enables businesses to operate in real time with automated bookkeeping, proactive alerts, and at-a-glance performance metrics. The company’s experts review monthly financials, provide support, and help users with financial challenges.

This current round will be used to propel ScaleFactor’s product development.
