Roomi Brings In $11 Million

Real estate startup Roomi announced the completion of $11 million in Series A financing, led by Atami Capital.

Roomi is a peer-to-peer shared housing marketplace that strives to make it safer and easier to rent rooms and find roommates. According to the company, Roomi is one of the only platforms that does not aggregate listings. Instead, every room rental posted on its platform is user-generated and verified by the Roomi team. The Roomi app allows users to post rooms and connect through in-app chat.
