Penthera Expands Leadership Team

On the heels of securing an investment by Liberty Global, Penthera, creator of the download-to-go (D2Go) software, has hired Daniel Hurwitz as its chief revenue officer, and his business development partner, Will Chapman, as vice president of sales.

Hurwitz and Chapman successfully reshaped several startups by addressing the value proposition of the company and focusing on new customer-centric strategies. Hurwitz focused on building/rebuilding entire sales operations for startups Evergage, MapMyFitness, Ninth Decimal, and Audience Science, and held executive positions with companies including SiriusXM, America Online, About.com, and NBC Universal Media. Chapman worked with Hurwitz at GoNoodle as regional VP, and they worked together at SiriusXM. Chapman was also the chief revenue officer of BrightLine, and was VP of sales for AudienceScience.
