MotionDSP Brings In $4.7 Million

According to a recent SEC filing, enterprise it startup MotionDSP has raised $4.7 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

MotionDSP is a Silicon Valley-based company making advanced computer vision and image processing software that extracts information from real-time video. The company uses deep IP to dramatically improve the fidelity of video captured by sources ranging from surveillance cameras to drones and manned surveillance aircraft in commercial, law enforcement, commercial security, and military applications.

According to the company, MotionDSP is used by NCIS, US Special Operations, and Scotland Yard.
