Modern Adventure Acquires $1 Million

Consumer startup Modern Adventure announced the completion of $1 million in seed financing, led by Seal Rock Partners.
The Portland, Oregon-based company is on a mission to be a leading provider of curated experiential travel. For instance, travelers can join chef Joshua McFadden of Ava Gene’s on a trip to Rome, Florence, and Tuscany to discover and delight in their food, wine, and culture. They can also join Joe Mueller of Wildwood & Company on a tailor-made journey through Scotland in search of the finest tweeds, castles, and whiskies.
