Travel booking startup GetYourGuide announced it has secured $75 million in Series D financing led by Battery Ventures, with participation from KKR, Spark Capital, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Sunstone Capital, and NGP.
GetYourGuide is a booking platform for tours and activities that offers a broad range of global activities: electric bike tours around Paris to skip-the-line tickets to the Vatican, cooking classes in Thailand, and double-decker bus tours of New York City. The company’s offices in Berlin, Zurich, and Las Vegas work with a network of more than 1,000 partners, including TripAdvisor, Thomas Cook.de, Kayak, and Expedia.
The new capital will be applied to international expansion and technology development.
